I founded and lead a design studio working with clients in India and abroad, and I own the work end to end: framing the problem with the client, setting design direction, designing the product and web experience, and carrying it through build and launch. Running the studio is what taught me to treat scope, budget and deadlines as design constraints rather than obstacles to it.

I teach UI/UX design to undergraduates and run the critiques that go with it. The work is mostly communication: explaining why a design decision is right to people who do not yet share the context, which is the same skill a product designer needs in a room with engineers and stakeholders. I also coordinate branding for the department.
